There is only one settlement on the island, and that is the small fishing village, with its tiers of Venetian-style stone houses built into the steep crescent which forms the picturesque, natural harbour. Painted in pastel shades, or left in their natural stone, the architectural style of these houses enhances the stunning view as the ferry approaches the island. The total absence of ugly, concrete high-rise lets you know you are in for a treat! |
